We moved from CA and just closed on a new home in Mansfield TX and I wanted to leave a brief note about our realtor Tanya Auerbach. Whenever I use a new realtor for a new deal, they don't always realize they're being watched closely for how they perform as a metric for potential involvement in future deals. While a primary residence is not exactly a deal, we were new to TX so I needed a good realtor to help us find our primary home and get us started scoping for future investments in the area. Tanya came recommended through a shared contact and from the start of our engagement, I was really pleased with two main things: she does what she says she will do and provides prompt and meaningful communication. As an out of state buyer, communication can be a dealbreaker and as a matter of integrity in general, following through on commitments is a quality I admire. We closed on our home with unique challenges and I can honestly say I genuinely trust her judgement, am confident in her keeping her commitments and can rely on fantastic communication skills. She also recommends competent people who are good at what they do which is a huge plus when starting out in a new state like we did. Cannot rate Tanya highly enough. Well done start to finish!

Let me start by noting that I’m not an easy individual to work with. I like to be in control, have a very specific vision as to how things should work, and enjoy negotiating and pushing the envelope as far as I possibly can. While most agents like “easy” transactions, I get a kick out of overcomplicating every last detail. Cherry Rizk has been a great agent and I’ve now closed two buy-side transactions with her. She listens intently, goes to bat for me, and has handled both of my transactions masterfully. She even negotiated concessions for me that I had not requested, and successfully obtained seller credits and additional repairs AFTER our inspection contingency was over. Our first transaction working together, Cherry was able to negotiate a TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLAR CONCESSION!!! Our second transaction working together was challenged with numerous obstacles, and Cherry was there every step of the way representing me tenaciously, yet with class and elegance. We walked away with $7,500 in concessions, a new roof, garage door, and several other large-ticket repairs. Cherry is extremely knowledgeable about the markets that she covers and the real estate industry in general. I’ve already referred Cherry to friends and family who have worked alongside her and had similar comments to share.
